Alabama — Birmingham Rocket Boys (BRB)

Summary: Birmingham Rocket Boys is a chartered section of the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) Section #665. Their club launch sites are insured by the NAR and waivered by the FAA. All club launches are conducted under NAR safety rules.

Summary: Official Home of TRA #81 and NAR #682. Come fly with us on one of the largest fields in the Southeast. We have a standing FAA waiver to 20,000 ft. Our flying season is usually Sept - March and sometime into April. We try to launch at least once a month. Saturday is for commercial launches and Sunday is for EX. Summary: The SouthEast Alabama Rocketry Society (SEARS) became a Chartered Club (NAR 572) with the National Association of Rocketry in January of 1997. If you live in South Alabama, Northwest Florida or Southwest Georgia, then SEARS 572 is the closest NAR section to you.

Arizona — Arizona High Power Rocketry Association (AHPRA)

Summary: AHPRA was formed as Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA) Prefecture #50 to promote high power rocketry in Arizona. They hold monthly meetings and local launches as well as hosting the National Experimental Launch at the Black Rock Desert in Nevada.

Arizona — Mohave Area Rocket Society (MARS)

Summary: Mohave Area Rocket Society is Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA) Prefecture #122, serving the Kingman, Arizona area. We fly all sizes of rockets from A motor to M motors. We have a FAA waver for 7700 ft. MSL with call-in windows to 18,000 ft. MSL. Our launches are held the first Saturday of each month at Red Lake dry lakebed, approximately 30 miles north of Kingman on Stockton Hill Road.

Arizona — Southern Arizona Rocketry Association (SARA)

Summary: SARA is National Association of Rocketry (NAR) section 545 formed in 1994 for those in southern Arizona (e.g. Tucson and the rest of the state south of the Gila River). In October of 2005 SARA also became Tripoli Prefecture 93. Their goal is to promote model and high power rocketry, educate ourselves and the public, and to have fun.

Arizona — Superstition Spacemodeling Society (SSS)

Summary: The Superstition Spacemodeling Society was formed in 1989 to bring together the rocket enthusiasts in the Phoenix metropolitan area. SSS is National Association of Rocketry (NAR) Section 506 and Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA) Prefecture 47. SSS was likely the first rocketry group in the United States to successfully intermingle the low and high power needs of these two national organizations within one club.

California — Diego Area Rocket Team (DART)

Summary: Diego Area Rocket Team, a chartered section of the National Association of Rocketry and a prefecture of the Tripoli Rocketry Association, was founded in Des Moines, Iowa and relocated to San Diego in the late 1960's.
