Summary: Established October 1996 as NAR Section #559, the Central Coast Aerospace Modeling Society (CCAMS) offers people in Monterey, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties an alternative to driving to the Bay Area or the Los Angeles Basin to meet with other enthusiasts. Local Chapters and Regional coordination ensures a good mixture of fun activities with short drives.

Summary: LUNAR is Section #534 of the National Association of Rocketry (NAR). We are about 300 model rocketry enthusiasts of all ages who gather together to learn rocketry, teach rocketry, exchange modeling techniques, and , of course, fly model and high-power rockets.

California — Mojave Desert Advanced Rocket Society (MDARS)

Summary: Mojave Desert Advanced Rocket Society is Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA) Prefecture #36. MDARS has two launch locations with FAA waivers up to 22,000 feet. Their launches are generally on the last Saturday of every month.

California — Tripoli Central California (TCC)

Summary: Tripoli Central California is a prefecture of the Tripoli Rocketry Association, severing the central area of the state of California. They hold launches on the third Sundays of every month and are now doing some Saturdays instead so check the launch schedule for exact dates, weather permitting, at the Maddox Dairy site.
