AeroRocket
URL: http://www.aerorocket.com/
Summary: AeroRocket specializes in high speed aerodynamics, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and aerospace technology related software development. Other services include Visual Basic 6, C++, FORTRAN 77/90 programming and wind tunnel testing using AeroRocket's subsonic wind tunnel having a test section measuring 10" high x 7" wide x 16" long.

Affordable Model Rocketry
URL: http://enceladus55.googlepages.com/
Summary: Commercially made rockets are exciting to build and fun to launch. They are also a great hands-on activity for students from 8 years old to adulthood. Unfortunately, soaring costs of school supplies and dwindling school budgets are making it difficult to purchase hands-on science materials for classroom. Rather than give up model rocketry the author created a way to build over 50 model rockets, an electrical launch system, and a launch pad for less than $100.

Apogee Software - RockSim
URL: http://www.apogeerockets.com/rocketry_software.asp
Summary: Apogee software provides three programs: RockSim - The most versatile software: Design your rockets, and simulate how how they will fly on any rocket motor. RockSim is a "Certified Space Educational Product," so it is great for schools too. Splash - A full 6 Degree-of-Freedom simulation software to track where your high altitude flights will land. SMARTsim - Add-On program for RockSim. Use it to zero-in on the most optimal design.

Flight Logger Project
URL: http://flightlogger.homestead.com/
Summary: This is rocket software written for Windows CE.

Gas Dynamic Labs
URL: http://www.chemroc.com/
Summary: Georgia's James Lanier provides a number of amatuer rocketry software packages, such as ProEP, GDL_Propep120, GP_Package, Pspice_Calc, Quad_Opt, Rocket_Perf, TL_Calc, Telfair, Yagi_Opt, coress, ic7400sm and pro_pel1.

HSIM Hybrid Simulator
URL: http://www.hybridsky.com/hsim/index.html
Summary: HSIM is an open-source simulator for amateur nitrous hybrid rocket motors. The simulator takes an input file containing a text description of the motor in a simple, one parameter per line format. It generates a description of the motor and the burn as its output. The report generator takes the simulator output and produces the formatted report. Both are written in C, coded in a style that should be straightforward to read or to port.

iPowerRocket
URL: http://ipowerrocket.othello.ch/
Summary: iPowerRocket, rocketry software for the iPhone and iPod Touch, allows the amateur rocketeer to compute rocket CP's, perform a trajectory simulation, compute ejection charge size and estimate the size of the parachute needed for safe recovery in the field.

Lawndart Model Rocket Simulation
URL: http://www.lawndartsim.org/
Summary: Lawndart is an open-source model rocket simulation for Linux, designed to accurately simulate the flight of a model rocket from launch to landing. While Lawndart was developed for Linux, it should be easily portable to other operating systems, and official ports are planned for the future.

Madcow Rocket Sim
URL: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/rocket-sim/id405883938
Summary: Madcow Rocket Simulator App now available for both iPhone and Android. This app simulates model rocket flights and estimates your expected altitude and ejection delay. You can fly Madcow Rocketry rockets or enter your own custom rocket. Simulate the flight with all the popular low, mid, and high power motors from the comfort of your easy chair. Version 1.1 improves start-up performance and rocket flight animation.

Matt Stum’s Template Widget
URL: http://www.42nd-dimension.com/rocketry/templates.html
Summary: Matt Stum's Template Widget allows you to create transitions, fin alignment guides, and miter guides. It is still in beta testing, but should be quite usable. It doesn't have a "Help" feature built yet, but hopefully it should be pretty self-explanatory. Tested it on Windows 98 and Windows 2000, and recent reports indicate that it also works on Windows XP Pro.
