PalmOS Rocketry Software
URL: http://members.shaw.ca/whortens/http://members.shaw.ca/whortens/
Summary: Rocketry related software for PDAs running PalmOS. pRASP is a port of G. Harry Stine’s RASP (Rocket Altitude Simulation Program). RocketCalc is a collection of seven rocketry related calculators: parachute, delay, altitude, ejection, wind drift, motor info and static port size. pRASP and RocketCalc use a common database, which includes all motors found at thrustcurve.org as well as all of the newer CTI motors certified by CAR. CPcalc is a center of pressure calculator using the classic Barrowman equations. NP is a port of Bob Kaplow’s FORTRAN code for calculating the neutral point of a boost glider.

ParaCalc Homepage
URL: http://www.angelfire.com/co/m2rules/paracalc.htmlhttp://www.angelfire.com/co/m2rules/paracalc.html
Summary: The ParaCalc software is designed to help one find a parachute that is correctly sized for one's rocket. This is its homepage.

Parachute Descent Rate Calculator
URL: http://www.onlinetesting.net/cgi-bin/descent3.3.cgihttp://www.onlinetesting.net/cgi-bin/descent3.3.cgi
Summary: This online program allows you to calculate the rate of descent of your rockets with parachutes.

Payload Bay's Online Rocketry Tools
URL: http://www.payloadbay.com/page-Tools.htmlhttp://www.payloadbay.com/page-Tools.html
Summary: A suite of five online tools from Payload Bay, includes: Study for Certification Tests, Centering Ring / Motor Mount Tool, Transition Tool, Fin Wrap Tool and Fin Guide Tool.

PbP's Engine Mount Template Generator
URL: http://www.rocketreviews.com/freeware_rocket_suite.ziphttp://www.rocketreviews.com/freeware_rocket_suite.zip
Summary: Using Programmin' by Pete's “Engine Mount Template Generator” and thin corrugated cardboard, you can quickly and easily create small to mid-sized custom rings and bulkheads. You’ll also need a printer, spray adhesive, and a hobby knife. Software instructions.

RocFlight Rocket Trajectory Software
URL: http://www.rocflight.com/http://www.rocflight.com/
Summary: Windows based, planar, rocket trajectory software for launch vehicles traveling through the standard earth atmospheric model. Includes a database of common high power/model rocket motors and kits, an optimal mass calculator, custom graphing capabilities, and a database management tool for creating and modifying custom motor files, vehicle files, aerodynamic data files and simulation case files. Handles simple model rockets as well as sophisticated sounding rockets.

ROSE: Rocket Optimization and Simulation Environment
URL: http://www.boilerbay.com/rockets/http://www.boilerbay.com/rockets/
Summary: ROSE is a Java-based rocket flight simulator applet (no download necessary). Experiment and compare multiple rocket trajectories together on a single chart. Discover optimum weight and optimum average thrust. See how significant drag is compared to weight, and compare "balloon" rockets to "rock" rockets. There is a general discussion of computer modeling and specific impulse measurement.

Scale It!
URL: http://www.mrhq.org/digdug/scaleit/scaleit.shtmlhttp://www.mrhq.org/digdug/scaleit/scaleit.shtml
Summary: Scale It! is used to determine the best fit from available hobby rocketry body tubes to the diameters of a real rocket. Scale It! can determine these all on its own, or you can select the tubes you want and Scale It! will analyze your choices. Version 1.2 is way alpha; it works pretty well, but has no help and only minimal documentation.

SpaceCAD
URL: http://www.spacecad.com/http://www.spacecad.com/
Summary: SpaceCAD makes it easy for you to design rockets. You can view them in 2D and 3D, you can zoom into your design and you can get see how your rocket will look like - before you even start building it. Just think of the hours won by tweaking your design to the max without sacrificing valuable material!

Spherical Parachute Patterns Maker
URL: http://scottbryce.com/parachute/spherical_parachute.htmlhttp://scottbryce.com/parachute/spherical_parachute.html
Summary: This web page will produce patterns for hemisphere parachutes for model rockets. Instructions for constructing the parachutes can be found in the May/June 2000 newsletter of the Northern Illinois Rocketry Association. The article describes the construction of 12 inch diameter parachute with 8 gores and a 2 inch diameter spill hole. This web page will produce patterns for other sizes of parachutes. Patterns are limited to a size that will fit on an 8 1/2 x 11 inch sheet of paper.
