Extreme Rocketry

Summary: Extreme Rocketry was founded by Brent McNeely in Las Vegas in 2000 to create an alternative to other publications serving the hobby rocket community. Brent has owned and operated his own graphic design company, Rocketeer Media, since 1991 of which Extreme Rocketry is a daughter company. Extreme Rocketry is a high-quality, glossy magazine with many full page, full color photographs. Extreme Rocketry also publishes documentary rocket videos and has several booklets in its educational series including titles on Level One Certification, Camera Payloads and Vertical Trajectory Systems.

Inverse Engineering

Summary: Dan Pollino's new K450 PVC Rocket Engine Manual is now available on his web site, Inverse Engineering. The manual details step by step instructions on the design and construction of a 2" PVC K class engine. Only common materials are used and no special tooling is required. Build the engine start to finish in a few hours and get 300 pounds of thrust for about $10!

LAUNCH Magazine
