GREELEY, Colorado USA — Ryan Kropp and his "Baby Bertha" stole the show at the 2008 Weld County Fair on Wednesday. Ryan, 10, was among the 15 Weld 4-H members who participated in the rocket fly day for those members enrolled in the model rocketry project.

LONGMONT, Colorado USA — “Sky is clear. Five, four, three, two, one.”  Launch.

Justin Lynn’s sleek black model rocket sliced a path into the hazy blue sky this morning as part of the 4-H Rocket Shootoff at the Boulder County Fairgrounds.

RALEIGH, North Carolina USA — The Raleigh Telegram newspaper and RTP-TV launched a rocketeering program earlier this year to share the joys of flying rockets with local youth.

WORLD WIDE WEB — The new president of the National Association of Rocketry, Trip Barber, was announced at the NAR's Annual Meet, NARAM 50, in The Plains, Virginia this past weekend.  A long term NAR member, Barber has served the past 14 years as NAR VP.
