AMHERST, Massachusetts USA -- PerfectFlite has added features to their original miniAlt25K altimeter and reduced its size.
The new miniAlt/WD (with data) is a full function altimeter that captures over 5 minutes of flight data at 20 samples per second for subsequent download. Measuring in at just 0.90" wide x 3.00" long, the altimeter will fit inside a 24mm or larger airframe.
Other new features include a programmable low battery alarm, selectable apogee firing delay for dual altimeter installations, and in-flight telemetry data output. The electronics are capable of withstanding a two second loss of power in flight without affecting operation, and will fire multiple parallel-connected electric matches even when the battery is nearly depleted. Run time on a standard 9V alkaline battery is over 24 hours.
The miniAlt/WD is priced at $99.95 and is available now.
