WORLD WIDE WEB -- Recently the FAA notified the NARAM launch organizers that their waiver may be denied starting Tuesday as a result of the new security precautions and the visit of President Bush to Crawford, Texas on Tuesday.

This means if your rocket uses more than four ounces of propellant or is more than 16 ounces total, loaded weight, you may not be able to fly on Friday as planned. Sport scale turn-in is 9-10 pm on Sunday at the hotel.

Any large model rocket (see definition above) sport scale entries will fly on Monday, not Friday. How this will affect sport scale judging has not been announced. Currently sport scale judges plan on a late night Sunday.
