BATON ROUGE, Louisianna USA -- Giant Leap Rocketry, Inc. now sells their new aerospace composite material as raw board.

Previously, they released a line of fins made of this light-weight, but strong material. But due to popular demand, they now sell this same material in boards 12" wide and as long as 48".

The material comes in thickness of 1/8", 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" and is made of an internal honeycomb of NOMEX sandwiched between layers of thin fiberglass or carbon fiber.

According to Ed Shihadeh of Giant Leap, "This material is much lighter than G-10, produces virtually no flex or flutter and is extremely strong". Ed used the 3/8" thick material on his successful level-3 project at LDRS.
