BATON ROUGE, Louisianna USA -- Giant Leap Rocketry, Inc., has just released a 1/8" tubular Kevlar. Similar to their other diameters of the Kevlar (1/4" and 1/2"), this material is made of 100% aramid Kevlar and is resistant to burn through. No heat protection is required.

This product is intended for smaller diameter high power rockets and large model rockets that require a strong shockcords. It can also be used for a variety of other applications. The 1/8" tubular Kevlar for $1.59 per yard (or about $0.53 per foot).
