WORLD WIDE WEB — HAKO Ballistics announces production of new mini booster hardware, for mounting "strap-on" boosters to any model or high power rocket! Similar in concept to HAKO's high power hardware, the new mini hardware is designed for use with boosters up to 29mm diameter, and fits rockets of 38mm diameter or larger.

These rugged components are made of cast plastic. The Forward Hook is reinforced with G10. The Aft Support has a 1/16" stainless steel pivot pin to resist corrosion. The plastic light weight and readily accepts glue and paint.

This system uses two components per booster — a Forward Hook and an Aft Support. Both are to be glued to the rocket. Each booster must be outfitted with a simple piece of 1/4" square stripwood, notched at the aft end. The edge of the booster's nosecone fits under the forward hook, locking the booster in place. Motor ejection releases the booster.

The hardware is priced at $6 for two sets, plus $2 shipping (USA). International shipping is extra. Multiple orders can be combined for reduced shipping rate.
