GORMLEY, Ontario CAN — Cesaroni Technology Incorporated (CTI) is pleased to announce successful CAR-certification of the industry's first reloadable "O" class rocket motor, the O5100-P.

Originally developed for commercial applications, this professionally engineered product will set a new standard for sport rocketry with the highest total impulse of any industry-certified rocket motor ever offered. Lifting those monster 200-pound scale projects is child's play for this motor!

Reloading the O5100 is quick and easy — no need to send it to the factory for reloading. Like the smaller Pro-X™ series motors, the reload components are packaged in a pre-assembled format and require minimal additional preparation prior to final assembly. When ready, the nozzle and grain set slides into the case, the forward insulator is set in place, and two internal screw rings complete the assembly. The motor case has a built in thrust ring, and an attachment point is provided in the forward closure for internal motor case retention.

At this time these motors will be offered through two US dealers, Magnum Rockets (http://www.magnumrockets.com/) and blacksky Corporation (http://www.blacksky.com/). The reloads are classified as 1.3C UN0186, and will be shipped directly from the plant to qualified purchasers. CTI is currently working with these dealers to develop a hardware rental program for those not wishing to purchase the hardware outright.

CTI will post a cross-sectional pdf format drawing of the hardware on the website shortly after this announcement, so fliers can begin planning those mega-launches for next season.

With the release of the O5100, CTI now offers the largest certified solid and hybrid (HyperTEK®) motors for HPR enthusiasts. Plus, for those days when 30,000 Newton-seconds just isn't enough, CTI is developing a full "O" version of this motor using a modular case extension—stay tuned for details!
