WORLD WIDE WEB — HAKO Ballistics announces four new plastic nosecones for model and high power rockets. The first three are based on the Delta's Solid Rocket Boosters, and will also work for many other boosters.
They come in three popular sizes: 24mm, 29mm, and 38mm. The fourth has a unique off-set cone design similar those used on Ariane 5 and certain other boosters. This nosecone is only available in 38mm.
All four cones are made of rugged cast plastic and are solid except for a molded hollow core. They have an extra long shoulder which makes them perfectly suited for use with HAKO Ballistics' strap-on booster mounting hardware. The 24mm and 29mm cones will work with the mini-hardware, and the 38mm cone fits the larger high power hardware.
Of course, you don't have to use them on boosters! These stylish nosecones will look great on the tip of any rocket.
Photos of these nosecones can be seen at this site: http://albums.photo.epson.com/j/ViewPhoto?u=3009006&a=30253388&p=62763927&f=0
Prices are set at $3.50 for the 24mm, $4.50 for the 29mm, and $7.50 for the 38mm nosecones. These nosecones will be ready to ship by mid-March. Advance orders will receive a 20% discount! Deadline for advance orders is March 14, 2003.
