AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands EUR — Over the last weeks several new products have been added to the Rebel Rocketry website.

The first new product line is the Terra Firma line of launch rails, starting with the Terra Firma Standard Rail, this rail is compatible with the BlackSky and ACME Conformal Launch Guides. It is usable on three sides and comes in sections of one meter. A basic set consists of 2 one-meter rail sections and an extension, or several, can be added. For the use of BlackSky type rail guides you however do need to use a recessed screw.

As a second rail Rebel introduced the Terra Firma Pro Rail, this rail is compatible with the 1500 type rail guides from rail buttons and with the new under development Rebel Pro rail guide. It is also usable on three sides and comes in sections of one meter. A basic set consists of two one-meter rail sections and an extension, or several, can be added.

As an extra addition Rebel introduced the Terra Firma Pro Combi Rail, this rail system is compatible with the BlackSky and ACME Conformal Launch Guides and with the 1500 type rail guides from rail buttons. The rail is usable on two sides for the 1500 type rail guides, and on one side for the BlackSky and ACME Conformal Launch Guides; it also comes in sections of one meter. Like the other rail, it consists of two one-meter rail sections and an extension.

At Rebel they are now working on the moment on a new kit that will become available in three sizes, a 3", a 4" and a 6" version. The kit will be called the RapTor and is in final development on the moment. Ziggy, the designer, has written a piece about the development and the special characteristics of this rocket which you can find on the Rebel website.

The RapTor promises to revolutionize altitude and speed attempts by its special ionizing fin characteristics. On the moment the Rebel Team is building some 3", some 4", a 6" and a 7.5" Raptor, which are planned to fly at UKRA 2003 in the UK in June. The RedBaron recovery line has finalized its products and has started production; on the moment he is developing a new chute with higher lifting capabilities it will be called the RedBaron Expert Line of Chutes.

SpaceCad version 3.0 is now also available from Rebel, it will give you the most value for price for a rocketry software program available on the market today.

After a long search for the ultimate rocket tube, Rebel found the manufacturer that makes the tubing for the 'professional' rockets and missiles and has made them available for the hobby flyer. The tubing Rebel now sells is made via the same production process as the ones used for those rockets and by far the best in the value for price range. Special sizes can also be made available; there is nearly no limit in what size they can produce. This tubing can be used for low, mid, high and experimental rockets that need that extra strength.

In the coming months the new announced kits will become available thru Rebel and the prices and info about the Terra Firma Launch Systems will be made available at the Rebel website. The webpages will also be fitted with a new ordering system in 3 to 4 weeks from now depending on available time.
