WORLD WIDE WEB — At NYPOWER in July of this year there will be the first flight of a Microsoft Windows powered flight computer.

This computer will record the flight using sensors and video equipment which will report flight events as they occur using an FM transmitter. Spectators can tune into to hear "Apogee is 6500 feet" and other events in real time.

More info can be found on the web site at: http://www.geocities.com/rdh82000/L3/

If all goes well the builder, Robert DeHate, will not only get a lot of computer data from this flight, but he will also get his Level Three certification. According to DeHate, if it doesn't go as planned he can at least call computer tech support and truly say his computer "crashed."
