YARDLEY, Pennsylvania USA — Loki Research will be holding a Propellant Methods and Safety Class on Saturday September 6th. This class will introduce basic theories in solid rocket motor design and methods for small scale production of ammonium perchlorate composite propellant (APCP).
Each student will learn to design a motor from the ground up, using different grain geometries and propellant formulations to suit their particular needs. In the practical portion of the class the students will make their own reloads to fit the Loki Research motor hardware included in the class tuition. Safety will be stressed above all.
Dates: Methods and Safety on Friday September 5th, flying at the METRA club EX launch Saturday September 6th.
