PUEBLO, Colorado USA — Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum and Southern Colorado Rocketeers will sponsor a model rocket flying day set to begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Hudson Ranch, 9 miles west of Pueblo on Colorado 78.

Rockets are limited to 3.3 pounds combined mass or motors of 125 grams or 4.4 ounces of propellant. Maximum altitude permitted will be 8,000 feet above ground level.

First-time model rocket flyers under 16 will receive a certificate as part of the National Association of Rocketry's 50th anniversary celebration. Eligible rocketeers are asked to call Jason Unwin, 671-2407, so he can have the right number of certificates on hand.
