SALEM, Oregon USA — New for 2003, Binder Design's announces another "Fisher Series" premium kit that comes with impressive upgrades! Styled to pay tribute to the early High Power Rocketry movement, the California Kid is a 4" dia. high power rocket with a nostalgic "retro" look. The kit comes with unique aluminum nozzle, aluminum motor retainer, and rail buttons!

With its "retro" vinyl decals, brushed aluminum nozzle assembly, and nostalgic fin styling, the California Kid is one classy bird! One of Binder Design's more complex kits in current production, the California Kid is a true modelers kit but the detailed 11 page instruction manual makes the construction easy to understand. Instructions include optional detailing tips as well as Rocksim stability data courtesy of Apogee Components.

Designed for 54mm motors, but light enough to fly on 38mm motors with optional adapter. This kit also features a kit industry first--modular fin can assembly instructions!

The California Kid comes with 3/16" aircraft plywood fins, 20 feet of 3/8" tubular nylon shock cord, stainless steel ball bearing chute swivel, and a Binder Design premium Chute. A machined aluminum motor retainer is included! Also includes delrin rail buttons for stable launches. This new kit includes pre-slotted airframe for an easier build, and comes with a fin alignment guide!

This kit is a great Level 2 bird that gives very memorable flights on easy access J350 or J570 motors, or fly it on a K550 and watch it tear a hole in the sky!

This kit is dual deployment ready with the order of Binder Design's optional avionics bay kit. Order the bay kit with your California Kid kit and save $10 over the regular price! (Limit one at this promo price.)

A percentage of the profits from the sales of this kit will be donated to the NAR-TRA legal fund. Help fight for your right to fly rockets!
