WORLD WIDE WEB — On Sunday, November 9, 2003 The Discovery Channel will be televising a three hour look at rocketry with information and challenges filmed during the Tripoli Rocketry Association’s nationwide launch in Kansas this past summer.

7:00pm - Wild and Weird Rockets (Times are CST)
The largest amateur rocket competition blasts off in Kansas -- with a chance to break world records and put some of the most unusual rockets into the atmosphere. Can the Aurora hit Mach 2? And can an outhouse really fly?

8:00pm - How High Can You Fly?
The highest bowling ball wins! Rocketeers launch rockets with 16-pound bowling balls in a heavyweight altitude challenge. And which team will win from the ground up as teams race to build and launch an 8 ft rocket from scratch in just a matter of hours.

9:00pm - Supersonic Speed Demons
Speed is the challenge, as rocketeers compete to build and fly the fastest home built rocket at speeds over 1,300 miles per hour. And viewers will see who can launch a rocket with the most precision in a target based, high-stress competition.
