WORLD WIDE WEB — The 2nd Edition of The Rocket Files has now been published. The 2nd Edition is a completely revised and updated version by Joseph Jimmerson. The book is a good resource for those starting out in rocketry as well as those making the transition into high-power and experimental rocketry.
"Rocketboy" Quentin Wilson states, "This book is comprehensible for beginning amateur rocketry and comprehensive in scope." Additionally, Dr. Terry McCreary, "The Professor" writes, "The Rocket Files has a place in the rocketeer's library." While continually drawing a link between hobby rockets and commercial space launch vehicles, this book covers every aspect from propulsion and rocket design to payload sciences and ground support equipment. Twelve chapters are full of over 200 detailed images, advanced rocketry and propulsion equations, detailed procedures, and expert advice from an Air Force-trained rocket specialist guides prospective rocket scientists. The 200 black and white pages are easily spread open for easy reading and study.
The 2nd Edition of The Rocket Files is available through Western Space Technology (http://westspacetech.9f.com), or directly from the publisher (http://www.lulu.com/jipress). |
