ImageWORLD WIDE WEB — It's official — registration is now open for LDRS 26, the Tripoli Rocketry Association's 26th annual national launch event, which runs from July 12-17, 2007.

Certified commercial motor flying starts bright and early on the morning of Thursday, July 12, 2007, and continues through Sunday night.  Tripoli members certified to Level 2 or higher may also register to fly on the two Tripoli Research days, Monday and Tuesday, July 16 & 17, 2007.

Be sure to bring your night-flight rockets to LDRS 26, as we'll have plenty of nighttime flying opportunities for you, including night flights on Research motors on Monday night.  Friday night, we have plans for a fantastic fireworks show that you won't want to miss (followed by more nighttime flying, of course), and Saturday night is the Tripoli annual banquet and meeting.  As is traditional, there will be a number of exclusive raffle prizes given away only to banquet attendees.

You'll want to register early for LDRS 26, as banquet tickets are expected to sell out quickly, and early flyer registrations (before May 31) will also get a double-discounted price.  LDRS 26 discounted pre-registration ends on June 30, 2007 -- we must have received your paid registration by that date, or you will have to register on-site, at full price.

Register online today with your credit card or PayPal account or, print out the registration form on the web site, and mail it in with your check. Per-flyer registration prices for LDRS 26 are as follows:

Early pre-registration (by May 31)

LDRS 26 is being hosted by the Rocketry Organization of California, in association with Tripoli Vegas, at Jean Dry Lake in Nevada.  As one of the largest rocketry clubs in the world, ROC has plenty of experience running world-class rocketry events, including twice-yearly ROCStock launches that attract thousands of flyers and spectators every year. Tripoli Vegas hosts the annual Springfest launches at Jean Dry Lake, and their extensive local knowledge and experience has helped us to guarantee that this LDRS will be a launch to remember.

Don't miss out!  Register today at http://www.ldrs26.org.

How far from the Strip is the launch site? It might be interesting to make a full-meal deal out of the trip to LDRS!

The 'Strip' is about 30 minutes north of the launch site... the highway through Jean actually turns into Las Vegas Blvd... AKA 'The Strip'!
