EAST MANATEE, Florida USA — Students at Braden River Middle School need help in funding the annual model rocket launch.

This will be the third year the school has participated in Helping Kids Reach for the Stars, a Christa McAuliffe Challenger Center Outreach Program. Its aim is to excite students about science through model rocketry.

Under the direction of Nora Hyde, science department chairwoman, students and teachers worked hard raising money by selling coupon books, but fell short of the goal.

School kids need your assistance to be able to participate in the hobby for an upcoming annual school launch. After working hard with their teachers to sell coupon books, the kids have come up short in their fund drive. If you or someone you know can help, it could make a difference for them.
