If you attended LDRS this year, you have seen a similar card to what the new ones for TRA members will look like -- it is just like those neat range cards. Heavy duty and hard to break, you will surely like this card. It is printed in full-color and has some added features, such as an enlarged membership number and member cert level.

This was made possible by a new Utah TRA member, Neal Baker, who provided this service for LDRS. It involved the purchase of a special card printer and as an added bonus, the card, while being processed, has a "clear coat" applied over the ink so it is nearly impossible to rub the surface printing off. You would have to wear through this clear layer first.

TRA also has the capability to produce custom cards using your favorite photo in the background. Prices for this service are as follows:

  • To replace your card with a new cert number is the same as before, $5.00
  • To replace your card with a custom photo, $10.00

For a custom photo, you will have to submit either a photo or a file on a disk, PC format. Photos and disks can not be returned. Have a duplicate made and send them the duplicate. Make check or MO payable to Tripoli.

The new cards will begin replacing the old cards in the renewal and new member process this week. When you renew your membership, you will get a new card. If you would like a custom card, you may order one now.

Keep in mind that the cards are like a credit card, as far as orientation goes (landscape). If you send us a "portrait-oriented" photo, it may not fit without serious cropping.
