WORLD WIDE WEB — The National Association of Rocketry (NAR) and the Aerospace Industries Association have selected and announced the 101student teams from around the U.S. who have been invited to participate as finalists in the Team America Rocketry Challenge flyoff on May 22 in The Plains, VA.

These school teams, selected based on local qualification flight performances from the 609 teams from all 50 states that originally entered, will compete head-to-head for $60,000 in prizes. The competition involves flying two-stage model rockets containing two raw eggs to a target (onboard altimeter-measured) precise altitude of 1250 feet.
