CEDAR CITY, Utah USA — RCS has posted data acquisition (DAQ) software written for the RCS Range Pro 1000 Impulse Meter. This version is intended for Apple Macintosh computers using the Mac OS® X v10.0 or later operating system.

The program is used to acquire, save, and retrieve time-thrust data sent directly from the Range Pro to a Macintosh USB port using a Keyspan serial-to-USB adapter. The data is plotted in the program window in real time and may be examined point-by-point. It may also be be converted to a file that can be opened in Microsoft Excel® or other spreadsheet application for further analysis.

Anyone interested in rocket motor development and optimizing flight performance is urged to examine this test system's capability.

The RCS Range Pro 1000 DAQ software for Macintosh computers in Stuffit format may be downloaded from the RCS news page at http://www.rocketmotorparts.com.
