BLACK ROCK DESERT, Nevada USA — Ky Michaelson reported from the lake bed at Black Rock Nevada that the Civilian Space Team launched their amateur high power rocket on Tuesday May 18 to an altitude of 77 miles with velocities up to mach 5.5.
The rocket is reported to have spend about eight minutes in a weightless environment before descending back to earth.
