BATON ROUGE, Louisiana USA — Giant Leap Rocketry has released their new 3" blow-molded nosecone. Like their 54mm nosecone, it incorporates many new features.
Ed Shihadeh of Giant Leap Rocketry, points to several features of the nosecone: - The nosecone has a 5-to-1 exposed length.
- It also has a 4" long shoulder for maximum stability.
- The shoulder also has 3 ribs that can be sanded to ensure a good fit onto the bodytube.
- The base of the nosecone has can be tapped for a 1/4" eyebolt.
- It also has extra-wide tabs at the base for securing a quiklink.
- The mold itself, as well as the blow-molding process, are optimized to ensure that the nosecone is perfectly concentric.
