BATON ROUGE, Louisiana USA -- Who says that bodytubes must be 3 feet long? It is becoming increasingly difficult to fit today's long high-impulse motors, a parachute, nomex protectors, shockcords, and coupler with eyebolt in a 3-foot booster tube.
The solution? New 4-foot long tubes for 3" and 3.9" airframes from Giant Leap Rocketry. Like all their bodytubes, these long tubes are made from Nonbrittle Phenolic, which is resistant to cracking and shattering. And unlike plain paper tubes, Nonbrittle phenolic won't easily crimp or buckle. Giant Leap will still carry the regular 3-foot tubes in these diameters for those who need them.
