WORLD WIDE WEB — Tom Rouse, Tripoli Competition Director, is pleased to announce that the "Large Rockets" category has undergone revision to address the lack of classes for L, M N & O motors.

Tom states, "The revisions also change the existing class structures of diameters and lengths for the G through K classes."

Tom credits long-time Tripoli member Mark Clark for his exhaustive study which made these revisions possible. Both are confident that the changes will make the competition more appealing to Tripoli members , especially for members where FAA waivers are limited and flyers want to be able to compete in things other than maximum altitudes. The reasoning behind these changes can be found at http://www.ahpra.org/motorsvolume.htm.

A complete list of Tripoli Competition Events can be found on the Tripoli website at http://www.tripoli.org.
