 WASHINGTON, District of Columbia USA — Following an online conversation earlier in the week hinting to the possibility that Smokin' Rockets, formerly owned by Bill Rossi, had been sold to Ken Allen of Performance Hobbies, Allen has announced the return of Smokin' Rockets kits and a grand re-opening sale.
The first two kits re-released are the 7.5" Nike Smoke and the 7.5" Honest John. And to get things started, Ken is offering a "smokin'" deal to the first 25 purchasers of each kit: a purchase price of $259 per kit. After the first 25 of each kit is sold, subsequent buyers will pay the normal price of $399. Both kits feature pre-slotted PML phenolic airframe tubes, high quality plywood centering rings, a custom fiberglass nosecone and pre-beveled plywood fins.
