ImageCEDAR CITY, Utah USA — The Tripoli Motor Testing (TMT) committee of the Tripoli Rocketry Association has certified a new high-power RMS™ reload kit using AeroTech's "Redline™" propellant, the 38mm J825R-M (P/N 10825M).

Originally announced in 2001, the J825R fits AeroTech, Dr. Rocket and Rouse-Tech RMS-38/1080 casings and generates a total impulse of nearly 1,000 newton-seconds with a burn time of just under 1.2 seconds. Other specifications include a peak thrust of nearly 250 pounds, a propellant mass of 497 grams and an initial mass of 878 grams. The J825R joins the popular J570W and J575FJ reloads already certified for the 38/1080 motor hardware.

One significant difference between the J825R and the other 38/1080 reloads is the inclusion of 8 slightly longer propellant grains rather than 9 shorter grains as used in the J570W and J575FJ. The grains weigh less than 62.5 grams each due to the lower density of Redline propellant when compared with the White Lightning™ and Black Max™ formulations.

The J825R reload kit will be priced the same as the J570W and J575FJ, at $76.95 each. AeroTech is now accepting orders for the new J825R reload and anticipates shipments to dealers to begin in mid-May.

An assembly drawing and instructions for the J825R are available for download in PDF format from the AeroTech Resource Library at http://www.aerotech-rocketry.com.
