ImageWORLD WIDE WEB — Tripoli Motor Testing has announced approval of a motor design/assembly change for two AeroTech high power reloads, the M1850W and the M1550R motors.  The approved change references an alteration to the rear-most propellant grain.

"These motors now have a single, unique 1" core propellant grain in addition to the remaining, as required 7/8" core 'standard' grains," said Paul Holmes of TMT. "This single grain is to be used strictly at the nozzle end and is so described in the supplied instructions of the affected kits."

The change results in the loss of 150 NSec impulse to the original respective values of 7658.6 and 6155.81 NS.  The original, all 7/8" core grain reloads kits are still approved for continued certified use.
