WARD, Arizona USA — Layne Pemberton of Pemberton Technologies announced this week the release of two new model rocket kits, the Little Bucky Jones and the Space Ark Jr. Both kits are slated to be available for shipment June 1, 2007, just in time for the NAR National Sport Launch.
Both the Little Bucky Jones and the Space Ark Jr. are scheduled to retail for $18 each. Each kit is individually numbered and comes complete with balsa nose and tail cone, 18" mylar parachute, KEVLAR® shock cord, both 1/8" and 1/4" launch lugs, 1/8" fin tip pods, nose ballast, 24 mm motor mount and complete instructions. The Little Bucky Jones has 1/16" ply wings while the Space Ark Jr. uses 1/8" balsa. The first 16 units of each kit will be available as a Special Limited Edition Set only (One Space Ark Jr. and one Little Bucky Jones) with matching serial numbers. Price of the limited edition set is $32 plus shipping. Advanced orders are now being accepted on both individual kits and the Special Limited Edition matched sets. Shipping is $5 domestic no matter how many you purchase. At this time there are only 10 matched sets left. As an update on performance, alterations have been made that allow both kits to fly on all recommended motors from 48" long 1/4" launch rods, or with C6, D12 and up on 36" long 1/8" diameter rods. Both kits will be available at the Pemberton technologies booth at NSL for only $14, for that event only.
