ImageLAS VEGAS, Nevada USA — BSD's 7.5" Nike Smoke is a high powered sounding rocket model designed for flight on J through M motors, measuring 107" long with dual-deployment design. The Nike Smoke looks down right "bad to the bone" on the pad as well as in flight! Makes a perfect Level 2 or Level 3 certification rocket.

The kit includes BSD's new Flexible Phenolic tubing, 7.5" scale fiberglass nosecone, full avionics bay with four 1/4-20 all-thread rods for support and enough room to mount many altimeters, aircraft plywood fins, bulkheads and centering rings, 50 feet of 9/16" tubular nylon shock cord, rail buttons, motor retention, and your choice of a 54mm, 75mm or 98mm motor tube.

Photo-illustrated instructions make it a pleasure to build. The Nike Smoke includes two payload sections, so that advanced drogue-to-main recovery techniques is required. Through-the-wall fins extend all the way to the motor tube for strength, and four centering rings make it solid.

This kit also includes computer-cut vinyl graphics to allow the model to be finished as shown.

For anything above an "L" motor we highly suggest fiber glassing the airframe, our phenolic tubes just love fiberglass.
