LAKE HAVASU CITY, Arizona USA — Tom Sanders of Contrail Rockets announced details today regarding hardware changes to their popular line of 54mm and 75mm hybrid rocket motors, as well as a pricing increase that would affect their 152mm hybrid motor line, the largest certified motor available.

Effective immediately, Contrail Rockets' 54mm and 75mm hybrid rocket motor hardware will include the newly-released forward closures with built-in retention attachment points on all motors from those two motor lines. Any new orders placed after June 6th, 2007 will include the new bulkheads instead of the standard bulkheads which lacked a method of retention.

According to Sanders, "Contrail Rockets has received many requests from customers for retention points to be made available that we have decided to make it a standard feature.  From now on, the 54mm and larger hardware sets will now be sent out with the retention style bulkheads at no additional cost." 
 
With the change, all 54mm Contrail hardware will be sent out with the new retention-style bulkhead that was announced last month, and all 75mm hardware will be sent out with the new-style bulkhead that features dual eye-bolt retention points, similar to the 98mm and 152mm Contrail product lines. 
 
Also, beginning June 1st 2007, Contrail Rockets will be raising the price on its line of 152mm products. The new pricing on the 152mm product line will be as follows:

• 152mm hardware (15000cc): $2495.00
• 152mm reload (O-6300): $1000.00

Due to the increased cost of producing larger hardware and reloads, a price increase was necessary. All other prices for Contrail products will remain the same.
