GLENDALE, Arizona USA — Sher's Hot Rockets has upgraded their 1/48 scale Saturn V kit, adding a large number of very detailed resin cast parts and upgraded decals. Designed to fly on several different motor configuraitons, the kit can hold a variety of 29mm, 38mm and 54mm motors, including a two motor cluster using AeroTech G80-14 motors. 

The amount of detail on the kit is astounding. Cast Resin parts include: a detailed lunar command module with boost protective cover (new and improved version from previous kits), LES rocket tube, five F-1 engine nozzles, F-1 fairings, APS modules, RCS nozzles, fins and other exterior details.

The construction components feature CNC machine-cut 1/4" high quality birch plywood centering rings, high quality heavy duty glassine coated motor tubes, and updated silk-screened waterslide decals by Space Model Systems. These are highly detailed markings for the Saturn V booster, the command and service module and the launch escape System, and are covered in an included comprehensive 11 page guide with diagrams on their placement.

The kit comes with full-sized rolled plans and a 49 page construction and flying manual featuring extensive construction photos.  Includes a copy of the Rocksim design file used to design the kit.
