We don't know of anyone from NASA coming this year. But NASA is interested in Model Rocketry and the youth involved. Why? This is the place that starts and develops the NASA employees of the future. NAR has established a relationship with 4H to encourage youth in this activity.

There will be a scholarship given out at NARAM-49 to someone 15-19 years old for their work on Research & Development of Rockets. It is not always the book learners who get a scholarship, this is hands on experience. The individual who started this scholarship comes from SMASH and is attempting to continue this in the future.
