GLENDALE, Arizona USA — Sheri's Hot Rockets has been selected to provide four static rocket models for a space exposition being conducted in March of 2008 in the country of New Caledonia. The first of the four, a Saturn V, is just now receiving the final touches.
New Caledonia, a French island, is the third largest island in the Pacific Region after Papua New Guinea and New Zealand. It is located in southern Melanesia, situated about 800 miles from Australia, 900 miles from New Zealand, and 5400 miles from the West Coast of the USA. Sheri's models will be displayed at a space exhibition early next year recognizing the the accomplishments of the United States in the space race. The 1/48 scale Saturn V is a testament to the great acheivements of mankind and serves as a stark reminder of what our nation can accomplish when we put our mind to it. Still to be constructed are: - 1/12 "Columbia" Command/Service Module
- 1/12 "Columbia" Command Module (Splashdown version)
- 1/1 full-size Russian Sputnik satellite
"I am very excited to provide the models for such a wonderful event," Sheri Ward of Sheri's Hot Rockets said. "I think its fantastic that other countries such as this are willing to recognize this great achievement of mankind that the U.S. accomplished over 38 years ago." Website: http://www.cjsaviation.com/

Sheri,
Do you have a store in Glendale? My daughter attends college there, so my wife and I get there a couple times each year to see her. If you have a store I would like to look at your kits.
Thanks,
Steve

That sounds like a business opportunity, for someone with some real-estate to rent out booths, bazaar style, for small businesses to display their wares a few days each month.
