CEDAR CITY, Utah USA — AeroTech/RCS co-owner and Director of Administrations Denise Savoie-Rosenfield passed away on October 24, 2007. She was 55.

Denise was employed by AeroTech since 1987, and became a co-founder of RCS Rocket Motor Components, Inc. in 2003. She was instrumental in the rebuild and relocation of the AeroTech and Industrial Solid Propulsion (ISP) businesses after the fires that destroyed their motor manufacturing facility in October, 2001.

Denise was a bible study teacher for the Church of Christ in Cedar City, UT. She loved hiking, computers, needlepoint, reading, music and travel.

She is survived by her husband Gary Rosenfield, four children, two grandchildren, her parents and four siblings.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Canyon Creek Women's Crisis Shelter, P.O. Box 2081, Cedar City, UT 84721.

Memorial services in Cedar City are scheduled for Sunday, November 4, 2007 at 1:00 PM at the Crystal Inn, 1575 West 200 North St., Cedar City, UT 84720. Memorial services in Las Vegas will be held on Sunday, November 11 at 4:00 PM at Palm Mortuaries, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89129, (702) 464-8480.

We are very shocked to hear that Denise Rosenfield has passed away. We just met Denise and Gary in Switzerland a month ago during ALRS 8.

Our sincere condolences to Gary and his family for this terrible loss.

The entire rocketry community is with you Gary. I've seen this on all of the forums that I am a member of, and it's a testament to all the lives you people have touched and brought joy to. I hope you find peace and comfort in knowing that. You will be in my family's thoughts and prayers.
