AUBURN, Washington USA — Northwest rocketeer Greg Wilson and his son, DonLee, together with Chris Holden, have opened a new hobby/collectibles shop in Auburn, Washington, located inside the Red Barn across from the 4-Plex outdoor theater on Auburn Way North. Since the close of All Hobbies, the area has suffered the lack of a walk-in hobby shop where one could pick up and look at kits of interest. With the opening of Holden's/Roadside Hobbies, the area once again lets one get a feel for what it is they are buying, a benefit not available shopping over the Internet. The current location was once considered more like that of an antique mall but is slowly turning full retail. The Red Barn staff is currently managing the sales operation but eventually Wilson wants to open a full sized retail store that he will manage himself. Holden's/Roadside Hobbies opened on September 1st in the Red Barn location and has recently received their first shipment of Public Missiles, Ltd. stock, with plans for LOC/Precision and Binder Design kits to be added soon, as well as other building supplies. Until their website is up, you can contact them at
