By pre-registering, you can save money and time at the field, freeing you for more flying time. Launch fees:
A Junior can fly free with any accompanying paid adult. Pre-registrations must be post marked by May 13th 2008 or they will not be processed. Hotels and vendors will be posted on the official NSL 2008 website soon. Commemorate your NSL 2008 attendance and experiences with NSL 2008 T-shirts and other commemorative items:
NOTE: Night launch vehicles must be visible from the flight line for the entire flight. Rockets must be proven to be stable or to have had successful flights during the day. Would be fun, I'll have to check my calendar. I love the O'burg field, too bad the Days Inn is such a dive anymore.
The Orangeburg field isn't big enough for a higher waiver. 10k is already pushing it. Both LDRS's there had the 10k waiver and it wasn't an issue at all. Just have to be prepared to fly the right rockets/motors for the site.
Be sure to check Tripoli ICBM's Rules. If you fly rockets equal to or above L impulse, be prepared to review your flight and able to prove it will stay inside the waiver.
Multi-Stages MUST be proven that the rocket is stable. Review the rules for further details.

Tripoli ICBM is the name of the club that hosts the site, and those are the field rules. They are pretty good about following the rules down there. It's the same groups of guys pretty much. I don't get into the NAR stuff. Since I'm a Tripoli that covers pretty much everything and there are agreements between the two so I don't really keep up with NAR.
Most of the Tripoli rules are just general things they do to make sure things are safe. Since I'm sure there will be alot of high power and alot of traveling of people not familiar with the site I'm pretty sure they are gonna watch the waiver carefully. Most of us are. You already know becasue you've flown there alot, but I was just giving guys a place to go so they'd know the rules down there.
I really don't know about the NAR/Tripoli thing. I just show up with a Tripoli membership and fly with whoever is there. NAR really doesn't interest me, because I'm more into HPR now, however I do fly LPR, and MPR too, but with the reciprocal agreements I don't need a dual membership. This one happens to be a NAR launch, and I'll more than likely go barring any unforeseen things that may pop up. I'll definitely be there for Freedom 2008 and will be there no matter what pops up. That one is is a hard date marked on my calendar every year and nothing gets in the way of it. If there is anything in the way it can wait until I get back.
I love Orangeburg! Great bunch of guys, and a beautiful place to fly. I love that place. It's a real special place. It always brings out the best in people. It is an honor to fly there.
As it was noted the waiver was 10k for the LDRS's held at Super Sod. However there is also a big honk'n building that's been added since then so 10 K is plenty. That being said, one of my favorite places to fly, great people.
Sadly yes, IIRC.
