ImageROCHESTER, Minnesota USA — The National Association of Rocketry's national convention, NARCON 2008, will be March 14-16 at the Kahler Grand Hotel in downtown Rochester.

This year's event is hosted by the Minnesota Amateur Spacemodeler Association, with the assistance of Tripoli of Southern Minnesota.

Convention events include speakers, training seminars, workshops, rocket-building seminars and discussion forums. On March 15, there will be a rocket launch (weather permitting) in Maple Island, which is about 20 miles northwest of Austin.

All events are open to anyone with an interest in hobby rocketry.
