GAITHERSBURG, Maryland USA — ROCKETS Magazine's February 2008 issue is in the mail and being delivered to subscribers now.  This issue features coverage of the  NYPOWER 12 and Three Oaks Michigan Team 1 launches, as well as a number of other timely topics.

Michael McBurnett, Ph. D, has authored a story entitled, "Compensating for Metallic Slag Deposition when Characterizing Amateur Experimental Rocket Propellant," investigating what effect slag build-up on a nozzle bas on a rocket motor.

The NYPOWER 12 artice, written by Neil McGilvray, revisits the home of LDRS 24, which took place at Geneseo, New York, which is a great place to fly and watch big projects.  The Three Oaks Michigan Team 1 launch, also by Neil McGilvray, in a bi-annual event that fLiers travel from all around to attend.

Other articles include one by Larry Brand, who submitted an article on K-Pod, a tube fin design for high power, as well as an article entitled "Federation of Galaxy Explorers does Rocket Science," written by Ivan Gaylish on an organization that works with children from grades three through twelve.

Rounding out the features is a photo montage by Neil McGilvrey from NERRF 3.

ROCKETS has also made available another free issue PDF for download. Once an issue becomes sold out, ROCKETS Magazine will release the issue in PDF format for anyone to download for free, and the ROCKETS Magazine's LDRS 26 edition, issue #10, has just been released.  Download your copy from:
