ImageGAITHERSBURG, Maryland USA — Rockets Magazine has released its latest issue (April 2008) along with their new AirFest 13 and Florida Winternationals 2008 DVD sets. In addition, Rockets Magazine has also re-released their sold-out LDRS 25 "Silver Anniversary" DVD set.

A.I.R.Fest 13 Preview: Windows Media | Quicktime
August 31-September 3, 2007
Duration: 1:17

The Kansas Kloudbusters Prefecture has set the standard for organization and infrastructure along with high flying, big project expertise. With a standing 34,500 foot waiver and windows to 50,000 feet, A.I.R.Fest is one of the few launches where you can fly high and easily recover your project on miles of open tree-less farm land.

A.I.R.Fest 13 is a glimpse through the keyhole of what you can expect to witness at LDRS 27. Over 600 flights left the ground during this warm-up launch. You'll be glued to your seat watching the action as massive clusters, supersonic flights, incredible shreds, full rack drag races, research day mayhem and the awesome P-motor powered Mercury Redstone project light up your screen. After viewing A.I.R.Fest 13, you will realize that you're not in Kansas anymore, but need to get back to the Rocket Pasture that will again host LDRS 27 for the biggest rocket launch of the year. In addition to the video preview, you can browse the 2,500 photos that were taken at the event.

Winter Nationals 2008 Preview: Windows Media | Quicktime
February 16-18, 2008
Duration: 1:59

The Florida Winter Nationals sponsored by Tripoli West Palm and the Florida Space Modeling Association exemplifies "from tiny acorns, grow mighty oaks." It must seem like yesterday to the folks in South Florida, when they decided to hold a big launch just to see what would happen. They held that first launch in 2004, and over the four years that followed, the core of TWP, Al Bychek, Rick Boyette, and Charlie Loveday, learned lots of things about holding a big launch. THe most important lesson they learned was, to coin another phrase, "hold it and they will fly." And fly they did, 248 times. In addition to the video set, you can browse the nearly 2,500 photos that were taken at the event.

LDRS 25 Preview: Windows Media | Quicktime
Silver Anniversary
June 29-July 4 2006

There is awesome onboard footage, wide-screen clips, and interviews with some of the usual suspects you might expect to see at an event like LDRS. If the fast paced, white knuckle action is too much to bear there are also over 2500 photos taken during the event. Reserve your limited edition today. In addition to the video set, you can browse the nearly 2,500 photos that were taken at the event.
