BISMARCK, North Dakota USA — Watch this...

"3...2....1 Yea!!!"

That was last year's launch but just wait till this year's...

Pat Reipl is a local rocket expert, and has built a rocket that's 8 feet, 4-inches high, 8-inches in diameter, and weighs at least 23 pounds.

It has 3 computer systems and an on-board video cam...

As if the rocket itself isn't impressive enough...the signatures on it, are all from war veterans. Bob Seibel, is a Vietnam vet and signs it today.

He joins well over a hundred vets that have already signed the rocket.

Pat's creation this year, is sooo big it'll have to be cleared with the FAA before take-off on Memorial Day...

Pat launches at Crystal Springs camp weather permittiing on Memorial Day...

By the way, John McCain's staff got word of the rocket, and, e-mailed Pat, John McCain's signature to also be put on the rocket.
