ImageImageWORLD WIDE WEB — May's been a busy month for Tripoli Motor Testing, with the earlier announcement for Contrail and Trojan certifications, now followed with announcements for new motor certifications for AeroTech, Kosdon by AeroTech and Gorilla Rocket Motors.

In an online announcement today, Paul Holmes, TMT Chair, announced two new AeroTech certification which consisted of a new reload for the 98/10240 hardware as well as a new case size for the 54mm RMS line, the 54/2800.

The new 98/10240 reload is designated as a M1800FJ-P, the largest to date of the Fast Black propellant line, with a 4.5 second burn time for an 8200 NS total impulse.  Initial propellant weight is 20.2 pounds.

The second new motor is for the new 54/2800 RMS hardware, an 89% K motor designated as a K1050W.  This is an update to the original single use K1050W motor now available in a reloadable package.  This motor has 2426 total NS Impulse with a 2.15 second burn time.

AeroTech/RCS also enjoyed two new releases in the Kosdon By AeroTech line for the Kosdon 29-250 and 29-150 cases.

First is a H130W reload, a White Lighting offering which is a 54% H motor with 247 total NS and a 1.9 second burn time.  Second is a G82W reload, which is a 78% G with 140.97 NS total and a 1.8 second burn time.  On the horizon is a new Fast Black motor for their 75mm RMS line as well as a few other motors scheduled prior to LDRS.

Holmes also announced one new motor for Gorilla Rocket Motors, an additional propellant offering in the 54-2550 case, joining the previously certified White Cloud, Black Lightning and Red Thunder motors.

The K1185GT Green Tornado is a 92% K motor, with 2460 NS total with a 2.1 second burn time. There are many additional motors in the Gorilla line due for testing by the end of June, including new case sizes.
