GRAND FORKS, North Dakota USA — UND rocketeers took second place at the 2007-08 University Student Launch Initiative at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala.

First place went to students from the Utah State University in Logan.

The annual competition challenges university teams to design and build reusable rockets that can carry working science payloads one mile high and return them safely to Earth, according to a press release.
