VIDEO: CNY Rocket Team Challenge 6/7/08.

SYRACUSE, New York USA — More than 80 rockets blasted off Saturday at the annual Rocket Team Challenge at SU’s Skytop Field.

Students from twelve school districts competed in one of two divisions, the middle school and high school level. They were challenged to design, build and fly a high-power rocket. The goal was to get it to travel 200-400 meters.

The MOST offered rocket science workshops to the students to help them with the process.
