Re: R122: NAR S&T New Motor Certifications
What is the difference between "L=user loadable" and "r=user reloadable"?

Re: R122: NAR S&T New Motor Certifications
Single use is pre glued together.
LUR has a screw top than can be removed from the otherwise SU PLASTIC case and can be reloaded maybe 6 times? Depends on propellant style.
Reloadable has a metallic casing and all the insulation parts are single use so the casing can be reused dozens of times.

From the Aerotech catalog: "The LMS is a single use motor in kit form that is assembled by the user." You epoxy it together, thus spending a bit more time and a bit less money.

I am sure that User loadable is the LMS motors. The LMS is a single-use motor in kit form that is assembled by the user. Look in the aerotech catalog on page 10.

Re: R122: NAR S&T New Motor Certifications
There is RMS, LUR and LMS. RMS is the metal case that everyone knows and loves. The LMS is the exact same as the normal single use motor but it is unassembled. You supply epoxy and time and build the single use motor yourself. This saves labor costs at Aerotech and thus the motor is cheaper for you. The LUR is a limited reusable case like Jerry described. I don't remember seeing any actual LUR motors but I haven't looked lately.

So, Is that F35 a 29mm. or a 24mm motor?
Typo lists it as both/either.

Scott, that was operator error. Thanks for pointing that out, as it is a 24mm motor.

24mm F's are a feature, not a bug.

Sounds like the F35W is a punchier replacement for the discontinued SU F21W. I like! (I miss the F21!)

For use in Aerotech 24/60 hardware only...
24/60 case ?
Sounds like a new load for the 24/40 case
I need to try two of them in my LOC StarBurst

Nope - Just announced 24/60 case. Retails for $75 and has closures with the same threading as the 29/40-120 and thicker walls than the current 24mm. F35 is the first propellant announced for that case.

Someone should post a drawing of the new system, especially the case and thermal liner ID/OD.
