Loki Research is adding a $100.00 gift certificate to the prize pool and, further, is offering a special “bounty” to anyone who wins the contest using a Loki Research Reload. Loki distributor, Mark Logan, will be on site at LDRS 27 to supply you with Loki products; he is listed in the LDRS 27 vendors section as Science Education Center www.sciedcenter.com. Re: Article: Loki Research to sponsor Mach Madness at LDRS
I'll be entering a brand spanking new Mongoose 54 on a Loki L1400. I don't expect to be the fastest on the pad but I'll get it back and all those guys building 38mm rockets and flying them on VMAX and Warp 9 motors will shred so I'll win by default.
I'll actually be flying a couple of rockets that will be doing around Mach 2. I wonder if I can enter more then once and win first and second prize...

It's a top speed contest, not an acceleration contest. VMAX/Warp 9 propellants will provide no inherent advantage. The winner will be the one with the greatest total impulse to mass + drag ratio.
